Dr. Mihir D. Oza is a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D. 2013) in Natural Chemical Products from ‘Central Salt and Marine Chemical Research Institute (CSMCRI-CSIR), Government of India affiliated by Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India.

Dr. Mihir Oza is a highly qualified and skilled professional with more than 19 years’ experience in natural products and industrial chemistry.

Currently, he is a ‘Designated Partner and Founder’ of Swarnim Environment and Consultancy., Bhavnagar from year 2023. Swarnim Environment and Consultancy is a laboratory and Schedule II Auditor which approved by GPCB (Gujarat Pollution Control Board). Moreover, he has served as a Senior Environment Chemist at Emission Monitoring Services, Ahmedabad (2013~2014), as a Research Associate at Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar (2014~2015), as an Assistant Professor at Shri M & N. Virani Science College, Rajkot (2015~2016), as an Assistant Professor at Department of Chemistry, Marwadi University, Rajkot (2016~2017) and as an Assistant Professor and Head at Department of Chemistry, Gyanmanjari Science College, Bhavnagar, (2017-2023).

He has developed several isolation processes for Agar, Agarose, Carrageenans and Cellulose from natural sources. Along with academic career, he has published 4 books and more than 15 papers to referred international journals. Besides, he has published papers in several international conferences, given expert talks and attended multiple faculty development programs.
